Easter Events


Tuesday, April 15

The Hoquiam Development Association. will host a children’s Easter egg hunt at 6 p.m., Tuesday at the Central Elementary School playground in Hoquiam. Children should bring their own baskets. An Easter Bunny will be present for pictures, but parents should bring their own camera. The event is open to children 12 and under.

Thursday, April 17

Children’s Easter egg hunt is at 6 p.m. at Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam. Check in begins at 5:30. Children should bring their own baskets. An Easter Bunny will be present for pictures, but parents should bring their own camera. There is no charge for the hunt, but canned food donations for the Food Bank or eyeglasses are appreciated.

Egg hunting is for children through age 12 only. Parents will not be allowed to assist children. The event is sponsored by Twin Star Credit Union, Aberdeen Lions Club, Hoquiam Lions Club, Hoquiam Community Services and Aberdeen Parks and Recreation.

Saturday, April 19

• McCleary Community Church will host the “Annual Resurrection Easter Egg Hunt” at 11 a.m. at Beerbower Park. Lunch will be provided and everyone is invited.

• Aberdeen Elks Lodge will host a free lunch with the Easter Bunny from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hot dogs, chips and juice will be provided as well as games, prizes and pictures. The lodge is located at 1712 S. Boone St.

• Elma VFW Auxiliary’s 16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt is at noon at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma. Includes five age groups, for kids 10 and under. Prize giveaway, including bicycles, baskets and more. Line up begins at 11:30 a.m.

• Montesano Health and Rehab invited children birth through 12 to an Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. at 800 N. Medcalf. Prizes will be offered and pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.

Sunday, April 20

Central Park Lions will host an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. at Lions Club Park. Eggs, candy and an appearance by the Easter Bunny are planned.
