The Elma High School Winter Competition team competed on March 29 at the Yakima Sundome in the pom and military category at the WIAA state competition. The team took home the second place trophy in pom and sixth in military drill. It is the first state trophy that the team has taken home in program history. The team is led by captain Hannah Heelan and coached by Laurie Templeton.
