Grays Harbor County Public Health, in collaboration with the Olympic Area Agency on Aging, is offering a free workshop to help people with diabetes and their caregivers live well.
The workshop includes six weekly classes, held six consecutive Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. beginning April 16. All classes will meet at Grays Harbor County Public Health, 2109 Sumner Avenue in Aberdeen.
The workshop was developed by Stanford University’s Chronic Disease Self-Management Program and is designed to help people with diabetes manage their blood sugar, decrease stress and frustration, and improve their health. People caring for or living with someone who has diabetes may also benefit from this workshop. Workbooks are included at no cost.
Space for the workshop is limited so please register early. To register or ask questions, call 532-2457 or 1-866-582-1487.
The meeting site is accessible to persons with disabilities.
