Lighthouse Restaurant Relay for Life team will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5-7 p.m., Saturday at the 40&8 Club, 2313 Simpson Ave. $7 for adults/$5 children 12 and under.

St. Andrew’s Relay for Life team’s annual parking lot sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at the corner of First and G.

Olympians Hiking Club members will leave the DSHS parking lot at 8:30 a.m., Saturday for a hike and work party on the Wynooche Lakeshore Trail. Bring clippers, loppers and gloves. Everyone is invited. For more information, call 482-1142.

Aberdeen Avenue Baptist Church will distribute free food from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Pinochle players will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Aberdeen Senior Center. Everyone is invited.


Habitat for Humanity store is open for donations and those interested in shopping for new and gently used items from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 3005 Simpson Ave.

Community Dinner, hosted by Harbor Assembly of God, is open from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at 716 M. St. Everyone is invited.

Grays Harbor Coin Club will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday, in the Hoquiam Timberland Library. There will be a program. Guests of all ages are welcome.

Grays Harbor Rifle and Pistol Club will meet at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the club house on East Hoquiam Road.


Relay for Life Team Cosmo will have a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday at 825 Dewitt Drive.


Free shred event, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at Montesano Health &Rehab. Donations will be accepted for the employee fund.

Montesano Senior Center will host chair exercises at 10 a.m. Friday. On Saturday there’s potluck pinochle at 6 p.m. A field trip to Cheney Field for a game between the Tacoma Rainiers and the Reno Aces is planned for May 21. For more information, call 249-4900.

Chamber of Commerce Cribbage Club will meet Saturday unless notified otherwise with sign-ups at 12:30 p.m. and play beginning at 1 in the Silvia Center, 120 W. Marcy. $5 entry fee.


Ba’s Brigade Relay for Life garage sale will be held from 9 a.m. ti 5 p.m., Saturday in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 600 W. Main.

East County Food Bank will distribute food from 1 to 4 p.m. every Monday and from 1 to 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month at 106 W. Main. Use the alley entrance.

Ocean Shores

North Beach Senior Thrift Store is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday at 885 Ocean Shores Blvd. N.W.

Free Blood Pressure checks will be offered daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Harbour Pointe Shores, 1020 Catala Ave. SE. For more information, call 289-9663.

North Beach Senior Resource Center is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Ocean Shores United Methodist Church, 557 Point Brown Ave. NW. Pick-up information and/or service referrals 24-hour hotline is 289-3352.

North County

Third Annual Armed Forces Day Open House will be held from 1-5 p.m., Saturday at the Lake Quinault Museum. Speakers will be Tom Northup, Ken Carlyle and Jim Northup. Everyone is invited.

Humptulips Grange No. 730 Dinner and Auction will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m., Saturday. Dinner tickets are $10 per person and include a baked potato &all the fixings, pie, salad and beverage.


HAVA (Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals) shelter is open from 3-6 p.m. every Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the first and third Saturday of the month. For more information, visit hava-heart.org
