ELMA — The Elma High School will offer plants for sale Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting May 4 and ending May 9. Just in time for Mother’s Day.

Suspicious car in the neighborhood?

You notice a particular vehicle has been driving up and down your road for a few weeks. It could be a new neighbor you haven’t met yet, or it could be a criminal casing the neighborhood looking for patterns and weak entry points to houses. If you can, get a description of the vehicle, its license plate number, and ask a few neighbors if they are familiar with it. If no one else knows about it, it wouldn’t hurt to report the prowler to local law enforcement and ask for an increase in patrols through the neighborhood.
