3 injured in Elma crash

Three people were injured in a collision on State Route 12 in Elma Wednesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Geraldine Bronson, 58, of Montesano, and Darlene Shank, 63, of Redmond were both headed eastbound on Highway 12 when Shank slowed for a dog crossing the highway. Bronson wasn’t able to stop in time and rear-ended Shank’s car.

Bronson and Shank’s two passengers, Montesano residents Rebecca and Imogene Moose, 44 and 82 respectively, were injured in the crash. They were transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center.

Bronson was cited for traveling too fast for conditions.
