A manufactured home in Grayland was completely destroyed by fire Wednesday morning, according to South Beach Fire and EMS. The bank-owned home was unoccupied, and there were no injuries.
Firefighters responded at about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to the 1100 block of State Route 105 in Grayland to fires in a manufactured home and detached shop.
The structures were already fully involved when firefighters arrived, but a neighbor’s new motor home was saved, Dave Brown of South Beach Fire and EMS said.
“He was pretty happy, he said it had about 6,000 miles on it,” Brown said.
Firefighters from Grayland, Ocosta, North Cove, Westport and South Beach fire departments were on scene until about 3 p.m.
Because power had been shut off to both the home and the shop, Brown said the fire is being treated as suspicious. The investigation is ongoing.
