A Level 3 sex offender has registered as homeless in Pacific County, the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Roger J. Collins, 42, has been convicted of communication with a minor for immoral purposes twice, first-degree sexual abuse and failure to register as a sex offender.
Offenders registered as homeless must check in with the Sheriff’s Office once per week.
Law enforcement agencies are authorized under state law to inform the public when a convicted sex offender or kidnapping offender is released from custody or changes addresses. The offenders also are required to register their residence with the sheriff’s office in the county where they will be residing.
