The hours of operation for the County Administration Building in Montesano and its assorted departments have changed, opening up for a small chunk of the typical lunch hour, but closing the building earlier than the public is used to.
The new hours, effective April 1, will have the offices of the Auditor, Treasurer and Assessor open 9 a.m. to noon, close for 30 minutes and then re-open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The County Commission’s Office will open 8 a.m. to noon, close for 30 minutes and also re-open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The commission offices will remain open just half of the day on Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.
The county’s Public Works division will remain closed for the full lunch hour. The office to get building permits and do building inspections will be open 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m.
