The public is invited to celebrate Summit Pacific Medical Center’s first anniversary from Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Friday, Feb. 21, in Elma.
Free tastes from the center’s Café Salute will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 600 E. Main St. in Elma. The cafe has expanded services and will start serving the public as well as patients and staff as of Feb. 18.
Visitors can enter to win one of several door prizes. Among them are a chance to win two entries into the foundation’s Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament taking place at Salish Cliffs Golf Club in May.
“We have had incredible support from this community and we are glad that we can invite them to come and join us once again to celebrate another milestone,” said Lauren Day, public relations manager.
Summit Pacific Medical Center registered its first patient on Feb. 17 , 2013. The medical center operates a 24/7 emergency department, a 10 bed in-patient wing, a swing bed program and a full service laboratory with in-patient and out-patient services. Their diagnostic imaging department provides X-rays, CT scans, digital mammograms, ultrasounds and MRIs. The center operates three family medicine clinics: Summit Pacific Medical Clinic, Elma Family Medicine and Mark Reed Healthcare Clinic.
