The Aberdeen Planning Commission will take public comment on zoning for the sale, processing and production of recreational marijuana within city limits as well as the ban on medical cannabis collective gardens on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Rotary Log Pavilion.
The commission will then make a recommendation to the Aberdeen City Council, which currently has authorized recreational marijuana operations in light industrial and industrial zones. The city could expand that to include commercial areas, which the commission is tending to favor.
