Robotics program graduates to Aberdeen High

The growing robotics program at Miller Junior High School will expand to Aberdeen High School, thanks to a $15,000 grant from Grays Harbor Community Foundation, according to Superintendent Tom Opstad’s blog.

The grant will allow for the purchase of materials. The class will start in the second semester in the coming school year. “It should be a great extension from the foundation built at Miller as students build their skills in programming to eventually enter robotics competitions,” Opstad wrote.
