Sheriff’s Office on the lookout for men who stole from Hogan’s Corner store

Law enforcement is on the lookout for two young men who allegedly broke into the Sunshine Deli and gas station at Hogan’s Corner early Monday morning, the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies responded to the business at about 12:21 a.m. after an alarm went off. Surveillance video from the store showed that two young men entered the store after breaking the front door glass with a large rock. The men then allegedly stole some Icehouse beer, several individually-wrapped Swisher Sweet Cigarillos and a small amount of change, said Chief Criminal Deputy Steve Shumate. The suspects then fled the store and ran north.

Both suspects are believed to be males in their teens or early 20s. One subject was wearing a cream-colored shirt, dark colored pants or sweats, black and white reflective striped shoes and a blue baseball hat with a red bill. The baseball hat had a white logo on the front and white lettering on the side. The logo seemed similar to that of the New York Giants, the New England Patriots or the New York Rangers. This subject was tall and thin.

The second subject was dressed in dark shorts, a dark sweatshirt, dark socks and dark-colored flip-flops. He was wearing the sweatshirt hood and another garment to cover his face. Once this suspect got to the beer cooler, he dropped the garment that was covering his face. That item has since been confiscated and will be processed for evidence.

Anyone with information on this crime should call the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office at 360-249-3711.
