An Aberdeen woman was injured when she reportedly fell asleep at the wheel and crashed her car north of Hoquiam, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Stephanie Keov, 29, was heading south on Highway 109 near Powell Road, about 8 miles north of Hoquiam at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the memo.
She left the roadway to the right, heading down a 10-foot embankment and hitting a tree. She went back up onto the roadway, lost control and went back off the road to the right, back into the embankment, where the SUV rolled onto its top.
According to the State Patrol, Keov fell asleep, causing the crash. Charges are pending, according to the Patrol.
