Members of the public will have the chance to comment on a new Hoquiam drug treatment clinic at two March 20 meetings.
The treatment clinic, operated by Evergreen Treatment Services, would treat addiction to heroin and other opioids with methadone, other medications and counselling, said Molly Carney, executive director of Evergreen Treatment Services. The facility is scheduled to open sometime in April and would be located at 804 Levee St. in Hoquiam. The first public hearing will take place at the Pacific County Courthouse Annex, located at 1216 W Robert Bush Drive in South Bend. The meeting will run form 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The second hearing will take place at Grays Harbor County Public Health and Social Services, located at 2109 Sumner Ave. in Aberdeen. The meeting will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
