Tickets are now on sale for the primary fund-raising event for the United Way of Grays Harbor, the 15th annual United Way Gala and Auction, to be held Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino.
“This great evening has been the party of the year, a night to have fun, relax and best of all, show how we all continue to support out community,” said Nora LeBlanc, United Way of Grays Harbor’s Executive Director.
Since the first event, sponsored by founders Rich Hartman’s Five Star Dealerships and Jodesha Broadcasting and host-sponsor Quinault Beach Resort and Casino, over $700,000 has been raised. United Way of Grays Harbor uses the money locally to support non-profit and charitible organizations in the community, aiding 22 programs that serve local people.
The event will offer an elaborate meal including appetizers, a cobb salad and an entrée featuring roasted eye of prime rib with veal demi-glaze, accompanied with a grilled Quinault salmon and shrimp brochette and rosemary potato confit, and finished with champagne Bavarian and a strawberry gelee.
There will also be a silent and live auction, including works donated by local artists, hotel packages and a Brad Paisley autographed guitar.
Drawing tickets are available for $25 each to win one of three prizes: 250 gallons of gas, an AMP refrigerator cooler or a Keurig coffee brewing system. Winners do not need to be present at the Gala to obtain their prizes.
Dinner tickets are available for $75 or a table of eight may be sponsored for $1,000. To reserve tickets, sponsor a table or to buy tickets call United Way at 360-532-6260 or email email@example.com.
