Businesses affected by recent wildfires can request filing extensions for their state business taxes.
The state Department of Revenue said Monday that businesses in fire-affected areas can ask for tax filing extensions and late-payment penalty waivers.
For businesses that report monthly, the tax deadline is Friday; for businesses that file quarterly, the tax deadline is July 31.
Businesses in affected areas can also request extensions for renewing business licenses and reseller permits as well as rescheduling audits.
