John E. Ryan of Aberdeen died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at Pacific Care Center. He was 68.

Gary V. Barton

Gary Vincent Barton, a Westport resident and former tugboat captain for Crowley Maritime, died at home Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016. He was 85.

A celebration Of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at 220 W. Maple in Westport.

Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Charlotte M. Arnold

Charlotte Mae Arnold, a longtime Hoquiam area resident, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen. She was 84.

The family requests donations be sent to the Grays Harbor Fire District No. 7, P.O. Box 322, Copalis Beach, WA 98535-0322.

A celebration of the lives of Delbert Earl and Charlotte Mae Arnold will be held at a later date.

Mary R. Sweeney

MONTESANO — Mary Ruth Sweeney, a longtime Montesano area resident, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 94.

She had serviced as an officer of the Grays Harbor County Court in Montesano.

Private inurnment will be held at a later date in the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
