When her children were all in school, Dorothy decided to follow her calling and enrolled in college. She was so proud when she earned her LPN license. She retired after working 22 years at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.
She was active with the Hoquiam VFW and looked forward to Monday night bingo. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling to the east coast and the Bahamas. Dorothy and John always had good times together planning and driving to Reno for their mini-vacations.
She was strong in her faith and always had enough love and kindness for everyone around her. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
