Elizabeth Georgiana Russell, 98, a long time Aberdeen resident passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam, Washington. She was born March 6, 1915, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
On October 14, 1932, she married George Orwell Russell in Brainerd, Minnesota. He passed away May 22, 1991.
She had also lived in Montana and South Bend, Washington, before moving to Grays Harbor in 1955.
Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Russell of Aberdeen and Philip Russell of Eddyville, Oregon; three daughters, Helen Teague of Molalla, Oregon, Connie Rosentangle and Rosalie Teague both of Aberdeen; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Durward and Rose Phillips; a brother, George Phillips; and sister, Helen Johnson; two grandchildren in 2010, Donald “Rocky” Pieraccini and Theresa Irwin; and also one great-great granddaughter, Savannah Crow Kost in 2006.
Elizabeth’s family would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful and loving care she received at Pacific Care Center. There will be no funeral per her request.
