Karen “KJ” Lee Johnson


A beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Karen “KJ” Lee Johnson was our shining light. She passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, in Corvallis, Mont. She was born in South Carolina on November 25, 1956. She was a resident in Elma for over 35 years.

KJ enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting, making jewelry and beading. She loved family gatherings, travel, long car rides seeing the countryside, riding quads with her husband in beautiful Montana, reading, music, and her most special “sister” vacations.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years Marven; her daughter Heather Stover, her sons Ryan (Tehere) Henneck, and Harry Henneck. Her stepchildren include Shawn (Carrie) Johnson, Lori (Byron) Johnson, and Kurt (Wendy) Vance. She had 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Other survivors include her three sisters Davina (Randy) Morrow, Tracie (Stuart) Nelson, and Kim (Brian) Wolfenburger; her nephews Brennan Morrow and Zach Shaw; nieces Devon Morrow and Aspen Nelson; and brother- in- law Dick (Susie) Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy Ann and Edward Jones; both her grandparents (of England); and her aunt, Wilma Bartlett Ball.
