Kimberly Ann Simpson, 37, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, in Hoquiam. Kimberly was born on November 4, 1976, in Aberdeen, to Harvey and Shirley (Simpson) Parshall Sr.
She was raised in Hoquiam and attended Hoquiam High School. Kimberly has also lived in Alaska and in Longview. She worked at Burger King in Olympia, the Guest House Inn in DuPont and also the Quinault Casino and Resort in Ocean Shores. Kimberly was a Christian and loved going to church. She loved taking her children, nieces and nephews every year to the pumpkin patch. She loved music, and made friends everywhere she went. Kimberly was a spitfire but was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever a family member or friend needed her.
Kimberly is survived by her parents, Shirley Scott of Aberdeen and Jack Parshall Sr. of Olympia; two daughters, Breaunna Jean Cruz Simpson of Hoquiam and Angelina Irene Hutchins of Olympia; a stepson, Anson Miller of Raymond; four sisters, Tina Otis of Rochester, Faye Anne McKee of Aberdeen, Dian Blood and Debbie Simpson both of Hoquiam; one brother, Jack Parshall Jr. of Hoquiam; one stepgrandson, Tayson Miller, many nieces and nephews, and her very special and closest friend, Ed (John) Lemieux who was the most amazing and best friend anyone could ever ask for.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley and Leonard Simpson and Alma and Bill Parshall; her Uncle, Stanley Simpson; and her nephew, Jarron Berkley.
Kimberly will be sincerely missed and will never be forgotten.
Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary located at 311 W. Market St., in Aberdeen. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Harrison Family Mortuary followed by a celebration of her life at the 40 et 8 Veteran’s Club, 2313 Simpson Ave. in Aberdeen.
