Linda Carol Ybarra, 59 years of age and a longtime Harborite, died on Monday, May 26, 2014, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam, Washington. She was born on November 14, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee to Oscar and Dorothy Green.
Growing up she helped raising Bullmastiff dogs, roller skating and going to the beach. Linda graduated from Mar Vista High School in San Diego, California and later attended college for two years.
Linda Green was married to Albert Ybarra and they resided in Yakima, Washington. They were later divorced.
After moving to the harbor area, she started working for the City of Aberdeen Attorney’s Office, on August 27, 2001, as the Administrative Legal Assistant and took great pride in her work. She also worked at the Grays Harbor Prosecutor’s Office in Montesano.
She loved the Seattle Seahawks, dogs and Mexican food.
She is survived by her son, Ryan Green of Aberdeen for whom she had a special love; one granddaughter; two brothers, Kenny Green and Steven Green both of San Diego and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Doug Green.
There will be no formal funeral service.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
