Madonna M. Hall, a resident of Sun City West, Ariz., for the past five years and a former resident of Grays Harbor died on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Wash., at the age of 70. Madonna was born on Oct. 17, 1942, in the Hoquiam General Hospital to Voyl “Bud” and Celest Marie (DeLateur) Wright. She graduated from Hoquiam High School with the Class of 1960.
Following high school, she had worked at the paper mill in Hoquiam. In the early 1960’s she was married to Don Barr and they later divorced. Madonna had made her home in California for a few years.
While living in Aberdeen she had worked as a meter maid, for the Aberdeen water department, as a custodian for Aberdeen schools and as a realtor for Coldwell Banker.
In 1981 Madonna was married to Allen Hall and he survives at the family home. Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Don Barr in Maryland, Sean Barr of Petaluma, Calif., Stephanie Barr of Fairfax, Calif., and Debbie Smitham of Graham, Wash.; one brother, Joe Wright of Scappoose, Ore.; four grandchildren, Dillon Barr and Abby Barr of Petaluma, Calif., Jeoff Barr in Minnesota and Tony Barr of Olympia; four nieces, Jodie Wright of Aberdeen, Julie Wright of Aberdeen, Joell Wright of Ocean Shores and Jennifer Wright of Westport and other relatives.

A celebration of life service will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2014, in the Church Lounge of the Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam.
