Molly Rebecca Vaughn, 69, a resident of Grayland, Washington, died on January 3, 2014, at her home in Grayland. She was born on October 10, 1944, in Bradford, Pennsylvania, to Vincent Winfield and Betty (Park) Wolford.
She worked as a beautician at the Hair FX in Grayland. Molly enjoyed DIY projects, painting & drawing, reading, knitting, gardening and agate hunting. She also liked the thrill of a good thunder and lightning storm.
“Mom will be remembered for her knowledge and enthusiasm. She was vibrant, adventurous and interesting. She watched over us when we wee helpless, loved and stood by us, wanted our happiness, watched our backs and then did it all again for our kids. She was young at heart and a beast on her mountain bike when she lived in North Carolina. She was stylish and trendy and loved listening to Trans Siberian Orchestra and Tool, her favorite music. She also loved each and every one of her animals”
Molly Rebecca Vaughn is survived by her daughter, Robin Anderson (Dean) of Hoquiam; her sons, David Vanyi (Scarlett) of Rocklin, Calif., and Jason Vanyi (Jen) of Rocklin, Calif.; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Perry in Idaho; and other relatives.
A celebration of life service will be held at the South Beach Christian Center in Grayland at 11 am, Saturday, January 25, 2014.
