Teresa Lee Cugal of Aberdeen passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 65. Teresa was born November 9, 1948, in Seattle, to John and Jean (Buckingham) Beairsto, and was raised in Ballard.
On March 27, l968, Teresa married Clifton Cugal in Seattle. In 1976, they moved to Quinault and they had also lived in Quilcene before moving to Aberdeen.
Teresa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to crochet, do ceramics, and many other arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her family.
Teresa was a homemaker and a member of the Children’s Orthopedic Guild.
In addition to her loving husband, Clifton she is also survived by her four daughters, Kristian Cugal, Rhonda (Herb) Schwerdel both of Aberdeen, Anna (Terry) Begeman of Tacoma, and Heather (Scott) Wilson of Cosmopolis; two brothers, Steve Beairsto of Kent and Bill Williams of Olympia; two sisters, Leslie Johnson of Rochester and Jill Karakash of Auburn; nine grandchildren, Chelsey York, Lauren Martin, Olivia and Nathaniel Schwerdel, Alexandria, Hailey and Tatum Wilson and Brandyn and Allyssa Oneal. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Trevor York and Jason Martin.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, February, 21, 2014, at Harrison Family Mortuary, 311 W. Market Street, Aberdeen followed by a graveside service at Lake Quinault Cemetery.
