William Ned Schoettler, 74, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2014. He lived many years in Grays Harbor before settling in the Yakima/Selah area where he had a farm for more than 18 years. He loved fishing, camping and hunting elk and deer every season with his boys.
He is survived by his wife Sherrie of Yakima, seven children; Diane (Joseph) Werbiansky, Kathy (Jack) Trent and Tina Schoettler all of Elkhart, Ind., Stacee (Michael) Hoffee of Panama, Michael (Tawny) Wagner of Santa Rosa, Calif., Jason (Jodi) Schoettler and Daniel Schoettler of Selah, Wash. He has 20 grandchildren; Willie, Angela, Lindy, Jessica, Tony, April, Crystal, Heather, Katie, Kristi, Tiffani, Jordan, Hayley, Kathleen, Joshiwa, Chelsah, Zaccarria, Ethan, Chance and Collin. He has 17 great grandchildren, he is also survived by a brother Roy and a sister Jean, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ned and Maude, four sisters Leona, Edna, Fern and Grace, two brothers Earl and Leon, two children William and Theresa Anne and a daughter-in-law Vonda.
