Correcting a mistake

I was reading my recent letter to the editor when I realized in abject horror that a one letter typo on my part had given the oil industry a much undeserved break.

I apologize, and would like to make it clear that this was entirely my mistake, and not the fault of The Daily World.

Please allow me just a minute to clear up any confusion. Fracking in the United States in fact consumed fifty billion — that’s with a B — billion gallons of water in 2012, not 50 million.

Take that California farmers!
