The generosity of folks in Grays Harbor County has always impressed me.

Recently, another example that warms the heart came to my attention.

Beverly and Joe Cornell, an Aberdeen couple, delivered a sleigh full of clothes and toys for students at McCleary School – just in time for the holidays.

They brought 50 pairs of gloves, 54 toys, 30 coats and 50 shirts for our kids. The gift of giving lives on in our community!

On behalf of the school board and the staff members in the McCleary School District, I’d like to publicly say thank you to the Cornells.

Tita Mallory, Superintendent

McCleary School District
