It’s me or the panhandlers, shopper says

Upon leaving a store in East Aberdeen I was approached by three different panhandlers asking for money. It was an uncomfortable situation.

The three were also weaving throughout other parked cars looking through the car windows. It was an unpleasant experience — one not leaving a person feeling safe.

This was just during the mid-morning hours.

Perhaps the store should take it upon themselves to address this problem as this type of activity is always there. Hiring security to patrol the parking area should be a priority.

My days of shopping at that store are over until it takes action and makes the parking area safe for its customers.
