Sowing mischief

I don’t know if this letter will even reach the individuals it was intended for, but I felt it necessary to at least try.

I have lived in the same house for close to 25 years without too many problems, but in recent months I have watched my garden in the back of my house be dismantled by people who come in the night and steal things from it. It started slow, a ceramic figurine here and there, then it was some beautiful glass balls, and now last night it progressed to three shepherd hooks with lights attached. These hooks had been in the ground for many years, so I’m sure they didn’t come out easily.

It saddens me to see my garden now, and know that I won’t be able to fix it up because someone will not allow me that simple pleasure in life. But the real reason for my letter is to reach out to whoever is doing this, and tell them that I am praying that they will stop this behavior before it escalates into more serious issues, that involve the police, and going to jail. If you keep going down this path, you will eventually be stealing from stores, or breaking into houses, or worse. I hope that is not already the case, but even if it is, you can change. If you need help, a great place to start is with Jesus. He is always available, and He genuinely care for you, and wants you to have a good life. He is knocking on your door right now, open it and let Him in. He will help you.
