Thank-You Letters

Bicycles from Heaven was able to give away over 150 bikes to Grays Harbor children in December. The Aberdeen Lions collect bicycles throughout the year and through a program at Stafford Creek Corrections Center, inmates restore the bikes to “better-than-new” condition.

We would like to thank everyone who donated used or new bikes for our program. Without your donations, we would not be able to continue giving away bikes to children who might otherwise not have the chance to own their very own bike.

If you have a used (or new) bike that you would like to donate, please call 360-533-4494 or 360-533-7079 and we will make arrangements to pick it up or let you know where you can drop it off.

If you know a child in need of a bike, call 360-533-1062.

Bicycles from Heaven is just one of the many ways that we Lions fulfill our “mission statement” — “We serve.” And again thanks for helping us in this endeavor.

We would like to thank our family and friends for your kindness during our sad time. The lovely flowers, cards, food and snacks were much appreciated as we made our way through the grieving process. Thank you also for sharing your “Gary” stories with us. It meant so much to hear them again. Your generosity in his honor through donations to The Green Lantern Kids Free Lunch Program and the amazing meal at his celebration of life prove how many lives he touched. He will be missed by all.
