Former Harborite Stephanie Jean Blumberg and Byron Richard Johnson, formerly of Tacoma, now both of Reno, Nev., were married April 23, 2012, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. The bride is the daughter of Kathleen Blumberg of Aberdeen and Brad and Darla Blumberg of Arlington. She is a 1998 graduate of Aberdeen High School. She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in business administration, majoring in human resources and business management. She is employed as a human resources coordinator at CEVA Logistics in Reno.The groom, son of Rich and Kate Johnson of Tacoma and Judy and Fred Arbuckle of Shelton, is a graduate of Washington High School in Tacoma and is currently employed as facilities manager at SK Food Group in Reno.
Tara Braaten was the maid of honor; bridesmaids were Angela (Reunanen) Scott, Stephanie (Manier) Parson and Trinity Johnson, daughter of the groom.
Jesse Johnson was the best man; groomsmen were Troy Gillespie, Neal Sanders and Tyler Johnson, son of the groom.
The Rev. Rudy Aguila officiated at the ceremony, which took place in the Outdoor Valley of the Falls. About 65 out-of-town guests attended the event.
A reception followed in he House of Blues Foundation room atop the Mandalay Bay.
The couple honeymooned at the Royal Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and make their home in Reno.
