Candice Jean Conklin and Kevin Edward Spivey of Bothell were married Saturday, May 25, 2013, in Sedro-Woolley.
The bride, daughter of Tim and Cheryl Conklin of Hoquiam, graduated from Hoquiam High School in 2008 and the University of Washington in 2013.
The groom graduated from Ocosta High School in 2008 and is planning to graduate from the University of Washington in 2014. He is the son of Debbie Barney of Sedro-Woolley and Terry Spivey of Bothell.
Pastor Shon Bentley was the officiant at the wedding that took place in the home of the groom’s mother.
The maid of honor was Cailyn Conklin, the bride’s twin sister, and the bridesmaids were Rachel Spivey, sister of the groom and Lindsey Kuni.
The best man was Kaylan Forbis, the groom’s cousin, and groomsmen were James Forbis, the groom’s cousin, Nainoa Kuni, Roman Spivey and James Wallace.
Carter Conklin, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer.
The newlyweds are spending the summer in Washington, D.C., and will return to Bothell in September when the groom will complete his final year at the University of Washington.
