Former Montesano resident Daniel Robert Meier of Bothell and Zandile Simphiwe Sithole of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, were married Sept. 22, 2013, at the Daughters of the American Revolution Rainier Chapter House in Seattle. A reception followed at the same location.
The bride’s parents are Duncan and Jabulile Sithole of Howick, South Africa, and the groom’s parents are Robert and Emily Meier of Montesano.
The matron of honor was Jennifer Camacho and bridesmaids were Jasmine Kalala, Sheryl Sambrano and Julia Meier.
The best man was Oscar Rivera and groomsmen were Mike Zhang, Jared Bridge and Chris Collier.
Sofia and Sylvana Camacho, and Lili and Mina Schreiner were flower girls. Jay Kelly and Alex Whitaker officiated at the wedding. The bride’s parents and her sister, Nomonde Sithole, traveled from South Africa to attend the wedding.
The bride graduated from Kingsway High School in South Africa and the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa. She is a chartered accountant.
The groom graduated from Montesano High School and the University of Washington and is an electrical engineer at Philips in Bothell.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii and now make their home in Bothell.
A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Montesano Presbyterian Church.
