College sponsors exercise programs

Grays Harbor College’s Continuing Education program sponsors several fitness classes which will begin in January.

One new offering is Interval Training, taught by Cassie Lentz, on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. This class starts on Jan. 24, ends on March 24 and the cost is $55 per student or $39.10 for those over 55. It will take place in Room 2255 in the Manspeaker Building on the main GHC campus in Aberdeen.

Water Exercise classes take place at the Grays Harbor YMCA at both 8:50 or 9:40 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Jan. 2 through March 29. Cost is $100 for the sessions, $75.90 for those over 55.

Three fitness classes are also offered in Raymond, including Low Impact Fitness at 8 to 9:15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from January 2 through March 29. Cost is $93.15 or $62.10 for those over 55.

Beginning Cardio takes place from 5:15 to 5:55 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays between Jan. 3 and March 28 at a cost of $58.65 or $39.10 for seniors.

Also taking place in Raymond is Cardio-Combo/F.I.T. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 6 and 7:15 p.m. This class is scheduled from Jan. 3 through March 28, costing $151.80 or $101.20 for those over 55.
