GHC organizing trip to Lakewold Gardens

Grays Harbor College will offer a one-day trip to Lakewold Gardens on Friday, Oct. 11.

The gardens, located in Lakewood, offer landscape architecture by Thomas Church surrounded by rare and native plants, state champion trees, more than 900 rhododendrons, 30 Japanese maples and a statuary.

The trip departs from the Whiteside Continuing Education Center at 418 E. First Street in Aberdeen, at 8 a.m. and the $63 fee includes transportation, admission, private tour, coffee and lunch at a nearby tea room.
