Greater Grays Harbor announced the finalists and winners of the Business Recognition Awards at the annual leaders banquet Oct. 18.
Grays Harbor College won in the non-profit category, with Coastal Harvest as a finalist. In the new business category, the Wishkah River Distillery won, with Flowers by Pollen as a finalist. Dunsire Printers won in the small business category, with Techline as a finalist. Five Star Dealerships won the large business category, with Levee Lumber as a finalist.
The organization presented a new award this year, the John Loyle Spirit of the Community Award, which was presented to Linda Loyle and her family in honor of John Loyle’s dedication to the Grays Harbor community. Another new award, the Ambassador of the Year Award, was presented to Angie West of Express Employment Professionals.
About 200 members of the Grays Harbor business community attended the event, which was hosted at Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. Guests contributed about $6,340 to the Greater Grays Harbor Education fund, which supports entrepreneurial activities and education.
