PAWS of Grays Harbor will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., today and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday for adoption of dogs and cats and provide scheduled vaccinations. No animals will be accepted. PAWS is looking for volunteers to transport dogs. For more information, call 533-1141.

Aberdeen Community Food Bank will distribute food from 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at 306 1/2 North I Street.


Hoquiam Food & Clothing Bank is open from noon to 2 p.m., every Monday and Wednesday in the Masonic building at 720 K Street.

Pinochle players will meet at 1 p.m. Mondays and Fridays at the Hoquiam Senior Center. Everyone is invited.


Grays Harbor Fire District No. 15 Commissioners have rescheduled their meeting from tonight to 6:30, Dec. 19 at the home of Debbie Oliver, 1616 North River Road.


Grays Harbor Conservation District Board will meet at 10 a.m. Friday in the USDA Ag. Service Center, 330 Pioneer Ave. W. Everyone is invited.

Montesano’s W.H. Abel Memorial Timberland Library will present “Math Play: Measuring” at 10:30 a.m., Friday for for children 3-6 and their families.

Ocean Shores

Women Helping Women, a group devoted to helping women remain independent in their own home, will meet at 12:15 p.m., Friday, at the Shilo Inn buffet on the 4th floor. $10 per person. For lunch reservations and more information, call 289-3924.


Raymond Timberland Library will present “Harry Potter Fan Club” from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Friday for grades 4-6 and teens.

Willapa Harbor Ministerial Food Bank will distribute food to those in need from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the building at Larch Street and Park Avenue in Raymond.

Pacific County

North River Grange will host a community Christmas potluck at 6 p.m. Saturday. Activities will include hands-on crafts and bazaar tables.
