Hoquiam Castle tours to benefit families

Have you been inside the Hoquiam Castle lately? Ever?

It’s decorated for the holidays so now is a great time to visit this historic 20-room mansion that was built in 1897 by lumber baron Robert Lytle.

For a $5 donation, tours of the home are available between 3 and 7 p.m., Tuesdays through Friday. Proceeds will be used by The First Baptist Church of Hoquiam to sponsor a family in need for the holidays. Evening tours may be arranged by calling 533-2005.

The Hoquiam Castle is located at 515 Chenault.
