Hoquiam High student to host first Grays Harbor Bark For Life


Hoquiam High School senior Kelsey Bernard will be chairing the first Bark For Life of Grays Harbor for her senior project. The inaugural event is planned for Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the high school’s Sea Breeze Oval. Registration starts at 9 a.m., and the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life honors the caregiving qualities of canine companions and is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.
