OLYMPIA — State Reps. Brian Blake and Dean Takko will join state Sen. Brian Hatfield on Feb. 27 for a telephone town hall meeting for the 19th Legislative District.
Residents with landlines in the district will receive a phone call at about 6 p.m. Those who stay on the line can simply listen to the discussion or can participate by asking a question.
To ask the legislators a question, participants will press *3 on their phone keypads.
The district includes all of Pacific, Cowlitz and Wahkiakum counties, part of Lewis County and much of Grays Harbor County, including Aberdeen, Cosmopolis, Westport and Montesano, which is new to the district this year.
Households who do not automatically receive a phone call invitation to participate can still join in the discussion by calling toll-free 1-877-229-8493, and entering ID code 18646#.
Last year, more than 7,500 residents initially joined the town hall meeting. In the nearby 24th Legislative District, more than 11,800 joined their most recent meeting, breaking recent records.
Legislators will take questions on any topic.
