State Reps. Kevin Van De Wege and Steve Tharinger of the 24th District will host a town hall meeting next week in Elma.
The meeting is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., April 9 at Elma High School in the commons, 1101 W. Main St.
The meeting is to “discuss legislative priorities and key issues with constituents, solicit feedback and answer questions about the current legislative session,” according to a press release from the legislators.
This is their first town hall meeting in the Elma area, which had previously been represented by the 35th Legislative District and is now represented by 24th District legislators.
In February, Van De Wege and Tharinger conducted a telephone town hall meeting that drew more than 11,800 listeners.
