Two AARP Driver Safety classes are scheduled for later this month.
The class, developed by AARP, is designed for motorists 50 years and older. It covers a wide range of driving situations. Participants 55 and older who complete the course will qualify for a reduction in their insurance premiums.
Attendance on both days is required for course completion. There are no tests. Class size is limited so pre-registration is required. The fee is $12 for AARP members/$14 for non-members.
The first class will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, April 8 and 9 at the Aberdeen Elks Club.
To enroll or for more information, call Patrick McGuire at 987-0026.
The second class is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, April 17 and 18 at the Montesano W.H. Abel Memorial Timberland Library. To enroll or for more information, call Danny Wills at 249-8249.
