Aberdeen woman booked for biting clerk

An 18-year-old Aberdeen woman has been arrested by Hoquiam Police after allegedly biting the hand of a store employee when she was being held for shoplifting beer.

Hoquiam officers were called to a business Tuesday in the 200 block of K Street for a report of a shoplifting incident where the clerk was assaulted after a woman came into the store and ran out with four cans of beer,

Police said the clerk caught up with woman, but she bit his hand and fled. Medics treated the clerk for his bite wounds at the scene. Officers later obtained a home address and arrested the woman there for robbery. She was booked into Grays Harbor County Jail.
