Volunteer Robin Wittenberg serves up bear stew at the annual McCleary Bear Festival Saturday. This year the team cooked up 175 gallons of the stew with 200 pounds of bear meat and 30 pounds of beef.
The 53rd annual Bear Festival swept through McCleary this weekend, featuring classic Bear Stew, a car show, the grand parade and fun and games for local families.
