The westbound lanes of East Wishkah Street were blocked for about half an hour Wednesday morning after a 27-year-old Elma woman apparently suffered a medical incident while driving and hit another car.
Aberdeen Police responded at about 9:30 a.m. near Newell Street, and reported the woman was navigating the curve between Five-Star Harbor Chrysler Jeep Dodge and the Shell station when she reportedly suffered some sort of medical complication, failed to turn and went over the cement center line barrier onto East Wishkah Street.
She collided with a 55-year-old Aberdeen man driving a pickup truck.
Aberdeen Fire transported the man to Grays Harbor Community Hospital, and the woman reported no injuries.
Traffic was detoured around the block with the assistance of the Washington State Patrol. The collision is under investigation.
