Barbara Bennett Parsons, who has written a column for The Daily World on Sundays for the past three years, is putting her column-writing hat on the shelf — at least for the time being. The popular column often focused on the Grays Harbor Farmers Market, which she has managed and calls “the best kept secret on Grays Harbor,” and on growing up in Hoquiam.
Bennett Parsons said she may write guest columns from time to time.
“Nothing else has given me this sort of satisfaction,” she said. “Not only that, I still have so much more that I hope to write about in the future! But for now I must take a break.”
