Two alleged drug dealing cases investigated by the Grays Harbor County Drug Task Force were brought before the Grays Harbor Superior court Monday.
In both cases, the Task Force used a confidential informant to buy drugs with pre-recorded money.
Roscoe S. Crowell, 53, pleaded not guilty to distribution of heroin. His wife Kathleen is also charged but was not in court Monday.
According to police, the confidential informant allegedly bought heroin from Kathleen Crowell at her home in the 1500 block of Cherry Street in Aberdeen June 11. The informant allegedly bought heroin from Roscoe Crowell July 2.
When police searched the Crowells’ home, they allegedly found black tar heroin, crystal methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials, hypodermic syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
Kevin L. Lucas, 53, also pleaded not guilty to distribution of heroin. A Drug Task Force informant allegedly bought heroin from Lucas July 3 and 4 at his home in the 100 block of South Newell Street in Aberdeen. After searching the home, police found heroin, scales, packaging materials and uncapped syringes throughout the house.
