Law enforcement officials are looking for anyone who might have information about the theft of a specialized piece of equipment taken from the Elma Airport.
Over the last few nights, someone has broken into a hanger at the airport and rifled through some of the equipment. Several items have been stolen, including a Pro Cut PFM 9 On-Car Break Lathe worth $15,000, officials from the Sheriff’s Office said. Also stolen were two attachments to the lathe valued at $4,500 each. The lathe was stolen between Monday at 4 p.m. and Tuesday at 5 p.m., officials said.
